Who is behind this process elephant idea?

My name is Henning Strubelt. I have several years of experience in the fields of process analysis, value stream mapping and lean management.
I hold a degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in logistics (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur Logistik) and a doctoral degree in engineering (Dr.-Ing.).
I am a professor for warehouse technology, warehouse planning, and warehouse organization at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven, Germany. In addition, I hold a visiting professorship at Chiang Mai University, Thailand and had and have teaching assignments at the Technical University of Applied Science Wildau, the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, and the Vietnamese-German University, Vietnam. Before I became a professor I worked as a senior lecturer at the Institute of Logistics and Material Handling Systems at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and as a Business Process Expert in the field of the Order-to-Cash process.

In my profession I regularly teach undergraduate and graduate classes, give seminars and conduct workshops. Besides my academic occupation I try to stay as close as possible to the practice or the real world work problems. Therefore, I regularly conduct projects in the fields of process analysis, value stream mapping, and lean management with industrial partners and in addition work for and/or cooperate with regional companies. References are provided upon request. I hold the following certifications: PRINCE2 project management and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
